ART OF THE
BOOK - The Festival
Main Street at Alvarado Street
(Festival grounds behind the Art Center)
Sunday 11- 4
Presented by the Fallbrook
Friends of the Library
& the Fallbrook Art Association,
the event offers a stimulating, fun-filled afternoon
of books, art, music & cuisine
The heart of the Festival will be the sale of
rare, collectible and 1st edition books
by Friends of the Library groups from throughout San Diego County
and the Temecula Valley. Sales of these treasured books
will raise funds for their respective libraries
Friends of the Library planning to display their exclusive books
include:

Descanso, Encinitas, Escondido, Fletcher Hills,
Lakeside, Murrieta,

An enticing highlight of the Festival will be a silent auction of books
with special appeal to collectors. Each participating Friends of The Library
group
will display 3 books for auction. This exclusive segment of the day offers rare
book lovers
the unique opportunity to take home extraordinary books for a reasonable fare
In addition, the multi-talented artists
of the Fallbrook Art Association
will offer for sale their latest works. The creations of this group of
regionally renowned artists can be seen displayed throughout Southern California
art venues. As with their tremendously successful exhibits at Fallbrook's
April event:
Art Of The Flower - The Festival, the artists will again present their
irresistible work
Live
acoustic music will fill the air,
courtesy of Dennis David - keyboards - and Frank Alves - guitar -
as
festival-goers stroll the grounds between the Art Center At Fallbrook
